Adrienne Kennedy
Adrienne Kennedy was born Adrienne Hawkins in Pittsburgh in 1931, but spent most of her childhood in Cleveland, with frequent visits to Montezuma, Georgia, where many of her relatives lived. The atmosphere of the south and the close relationships she maintained there would prove influential on her work.
